Environmental Commitment

Red Dot's Environmental Policy is:
"We promote a safe workplace and environmentally friendly operations."

Red Dot has always been concerned about its impact to the environment and the community in which we live.  As part of this philosophy, Red Dot has made changes to improve our processes and reduce our impact on the environment through out our history.  Red Dot’s environmental policy “we promote a safe work place environmentally friendly operations” drives many of our decisions to make improvements.  Red Dot makes improvements for worker safety and to improve (reduce) our impact on the environment not because a standard says we have to, but because it is the responsible thing to do.

As part of our commitment to worker safety and the environment, Red Dot is pursuing certification to the ISO 14001 standard. Through out 2007, Red Dot began formally documenting its Environmental Management System (EMS) and is working toward certifying all of its facilities to the ISO 14001 standard.
