Red Dot Names Norman Baker National Aftermarket Sales Manager
SEATTLE (Sept. 12, 2006) -- Red Dot Corp., a leading designer and manufacturer of mobile climate control solutions, has named Norman Baker national aftermarket sales manager.
Baker will oversee aftermarket sales programs in North America and South America. He has worked for Red Dot for seven years, most recently as manager of the company's OEM aftermarket programs.
"Norm has a proven ability to deliver leadership and fresh ideas in aftermarket sales and marketing," said Red Dot president and chief executive Randy Gardiner. "He already has strong relationships with many of our warehouse distributors and understands their urgent need for quality products, timely deliveries, and reliable customer service."
Baker, based in Bradenton, Fla., will assume his new responsibilities following the retirement of Gary Pefley this month.
"Gary has been an important part of the Red Dot family, and we're going to miss him," Gardiner said. "However, we're fortunate to have Norm Baker here to provide experience and leadership to our aftermarket sales programs."
