Red Dot Corporation Unveils Redesigned Logo, New Mission Statement

SEATTLE (Jan. 8, 2007) -- Red Dot Corp. unveiled a new look today that includes the first significant redesign of the company's logo in nearly 40 years.
Red Dot, a leading supplier of climate control solutions for commercial vehicles, said the change reflects new capabilities. In recent years, the company has expanded globally, strengthened its presence in construction, off-highway, and military markets, and become 100% employee-owned.
"We felt it was the right time to make our logo reflect the company's evolution as a global provider of mobile heating and air conditioning," said Randy Gardiner, Red Dot president and chief executive office.
The new logo is a simple black circle being eclipsed by a rising red circle.
The circular shape represents Red Dot's ability to provide all-encompassing solutions to its customers. The emerging dot symbolizes the sunrise and the company's growth in global markets. The symmetry signifies stability and reliability, while the overall simplicity reflects Red Dot's straightforward approach to its business dealings.
To further communicate Red Dot's mission, the company has adopted the phrase, "We create and deliver innovative climate control solutions" as its corporate mission statement.
"The Red Dot brand is one of the most trusted and recognized in the mobile heating and air conditioning market," said Gardiner. "Our logo may have changed, but our heritage, core values, and customer focus continue to drive everything we do here."
